Kenny Bryant, Senior Pastor

Kenny is a native of Norfolk and was raised at Tab Church. His family started attending this church when he was 10 years old. He joined the staff as the church administrator in 1992, became the associate pastor in 1999, and took the helm as Senior Pastor in 2007.

Mark Green, Pastor of Adult Ministries

Mark moved from Northern Virginia and joined the staff team in October 2009. He is a Dallas Theological Seminary graduate. During his 17 years in ministry he has served as a Children’s Pastor, Adult Ministries Pastor and Executive Pastor.

Mark joins Tab with his wife Shary and two sons, Allen and Jonathan. Shary is a home school mom and loves to scrap book. The whole family loves to travel and play Wii sports together.

Zach Hardison, Worship Pastor

Zach Hardison joined the staff team at Tab in April of 2008 as the Worship Pastor. Zach was raised at Tab and is the son of Rich and Kathy Hardison. When asked as a toddler where Zach lived, he would reply, "In the church nursery."

He is now excited to live out his professional life in ministering through music and the arts. Zach and his wife, Amy, were married in 2001 and now have three beautiful children, Chloe, Cameron, and Max. Zach and Amy share a passion for worshipping God with enthusiasm through the medium of music.

Lou Page, Administrative Pastor

Lou page joined the staff as Administrative Pastor in August of 2004. Lou graduated in 1974 and received his Master of Science from Old Dominion University in 1974.

Prior to joining the TAB team, Lou completed a 30 year career with Norfolk Public Schools where he served as a school administrator.

Lou and his wife Charlene who heads the library ministry have two grown children and four grandchildren.

Pete Johnson, Youth Pastor

Pete Johnson became the Minister of Student Ministries in January ‘06 after working for two years as the Middle School Director. Pete is a Nationally Certified Counselor, NCC, and has his M.A. in Community Counseling from Regent University (’08). Pete also earned a B.A. in Christian Formation & Ministry with a Minor in Bible and Environmental Science from Wheaton College in 2003.

Pete and his wife, Emily, were married May 24, 2003. They enjoy life together, and you may frequently see them together swimming, reading at Starbucks, taking walks on the beach, and spending time with family. They have two daughters, Aliana and Avalon.

Sue Hilton, Director of Childrens Ministries

Sue Hilton became Tab’s Director of Children’s Ministries in August 2001. She earned a B.S. in Bible and Elementary Education from Baptist Bible College in 1991.

For the last 10 years Sue has worked in children’s ministries leading Sunday schools, children’s churches, and planning outreach events. Sue and her husband Ed, a Christian High School teacher, have four children.

Wendy Strickland, Director of Connections and Young Adult Ministries

Wendy Strickland joined our staff on April 1, 2009, as the Director of Connections and Young Adult Ministries. She grew up at Tab and is thankful for the people who taught her during her high school years. Wendy graduated from Messiah college with a degree in Family Studies and then went on to live in Dallas, TX, to go to Dallas Theological Seminary and gain more ministry experience. She has her Masters in Biblical counseling and while in Texas she was working towards her LPC.

She is looking forward to using the gifts that God has given her with Tab church. Wendy has a love for people and helping them get connected to the body of Christ. She is excited to be back in her home town, allowing her to spend more time with family and of course being close to the beach.
